We are honored that you are considering us as your baby’s doctor, and we deeply value the trust families place in us. Watching children grow, thrive, and achieve their milestones is one of the greatest privileges of working in pediatrics, and it’s a responsibility we take to heart every day.
Before Your First Appointment
When the happy day has arrived, you can tell the hospital staff that you have chosen us as your pediatrician. The hospital may have you call to schedule your first appointment before you are discharged.
We will see the baby 1 - 3 days after you are discharged from the hospital.

What To Bring
- Any paperwork from the hospital, including hearing screen results and immunization records.
- Any available insurance information for the insurance plan in which the baby will be enrolled. (often only the parent’s insurance is available at the first visit).
- Plenty of diapers and an extra set of clothes.
- New patient forms that are completed before the visit help streamline your visit.
